Anduril Leads Week's Top 10 Funding Rounds With $5 Billion Raise

Anduril closed a $5 billion Series H round while VoltaGrid, Mind Robotics and seven other companies announced large financings in defense, energy, robotics and space sectors.

Anduril Tops Weekly List

Defense tech unicorn Anduril Industries raised $5 billion in a Series H round at a $61 billion valuation, doubling its prior $30.5 billion valuation from less than a year ago. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Thrive Capital. Anduril has now raised $11.4 billion in total funding, according to Crunchbase News.

Energy and Data Infrastructure Rounds

Houston-based VoltaGrid secured $1 billion in strategic investment from Halliburton and Blackstone, consisting of $775 million in capital funding and a $225 million secondary purchase. San Jose-based Exaforce raised $125 million in Series B funding from HarbourVest, Peak XV, Mayfield, Khosla Ventures and Seligman Ventures for its AI-native security operations platform. Redwood City-based GridCare closed a $64 million Series A round led by Sutter Hill Ventures to supply power to AI data centers.

Robotics, Space and Biotech Deals

Palo Alto-based Mind Robotics obtained $400 million led by Kleiner Perkins, bringing its total funding above $1 billion since its 2025 launch as a Rivian spinout. San Carlos-based Cowboy Space raised $275 million in Series B funding at a $2 billion valuation led by Index Ventures for its space-based AI compute infrastructure. Providence-based HavocAI secured $100 million in Series A funding, bringing its total to $200 million after two years of operation.

Indoor Farming and Additional Space Funding

Jersey City-based Oishii raised $150 million in Series C funding led by SPARX Asset Management, reaching $370 million in cumulative capital since its 2016 founding for automated strawberry farms. Create Medicines closed a $122 million Series B round led by Newpath Partners, ARCH Venture Partners and Hatteras Venture Partners for in vivo immunotherapies. Jacksonville-based Star Catcher picked up $65 million in Series A funding led by B Capital, Shield Capital and Cerberus Ventures for its space power grid technology, according to Crunchbase News.
