Anduril Leads Week's Largest Funding Rounds With $5 Billion Raise

Anduril Industries closed a $5 billion round at a $61 billion valuation as part of the week's top ten announced U.S. venture financings tracked by Crunchbase.

Anduril Tops Weekly Deal List

Anduril Industries raised $5 billion in a Series H round at a $61 billion valuation, double its valuation from less than a year earlier. The Costa Mesa, California-based defense tech company has now raised $11.4 billion in total, according to Crunchbase News. Andreessen Horowitz and Thrive Capital led the round.

Energy and Robotics Rounds Follow

Houston-based VoltaGrid secured $775 million in capital funding plus a $225 million secondary purchase from Halliburton and Blackstone for its mobile natural gas generators serving data centers and microgrids. Palo Alto-based Mind Robotics obtained $400 million led by Kleiner Perkins. The AI-enabled industrial robotics platform, launched in 2025 as a Rivian spinout, has raised more than $1 billion to date.

Space Tech and Indoor Farming Deals

Cowboy Space closed $275 million in Series B funding at a $2 billion valuation. Index Ventures led the round for the San Carlos, California startup founded by Robinhood co-founder Baiju Bhatt to develop rockets and satellite infrastructure for AI compute in space. Jersey City-based Oishii raised $150 million in Series C funding led by SPARX Asset Management for its automated indoor strawberry farms; the company, founded in 2016, has now raised $370 million overall.

Additional Rounds in Cybersecurity, Biotech, and Autonomy

San Jose-based Exaforce raised $125 million in Series B funding from HarbourVest, Peak XV, Mayfield, Khosla Ventures, and Seligman Ventures for its AI-native security operations platform. Create Medicines closed $122 million in Series B funding led by Newpath Partners, ARCH Venture Partners, and Hatteras Venture Partners for in vivo immunotherapies. Providence-based HavocAI secured $100 million in Series A funding, bringing its two-year-old total to $200 million for military and commercial autonomous systems. Star Catcher picked up $65 million in Series A funding led by B Capital, Shield Capital, and Cerberus Ventures for its space-based solar power grid. Redwood City-based GridCare raised $64 million in Series A funding led by Sutter Hill Ventures to supply power to AI data centers, according to Crunchbase News.
