Main Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in London-based Orgvue in its first UK investment, according to Private Equity Wire.

Main Capital Partners has made its first UK investment by acquiring a majority stake in Orgvue, a London-headquartered provider of strategic workforce management software, according to Private Equity Wire. The transaction will see Main partner with Orgvue’s management team to accelerate the company’s next phase of international growth, according to Private Equity Wire.

UK debut and partnership focus

Main Capital Partners said it plans to support further product development at Orgvue, according to Private Equity Wire. Main also said it intends to expand Orgvue’s presence in international markets and increase penetration of its enterprise customer base, according to the publication. Main said it will pursue selective add-on acquisitions to broaden the platform’s capabilities, according to the same report.

Sjoerd Aarts, managing partner and head of Benelux and the UK at Main, said Orgvue had established a strong position in an international market supported by the growing importance of continuous workforce planning, according to Private Equity Wire. Main said it will work with CEO Oliver Shaw and the wider management team through product innovation, international expansion and targeted M&A, according to the report.

Orgvue’s product and operating footprint

Orgvue provides cloud-based software that enables large organisations to design, plan and optimise their workforce structures, according to Private Equity Wire. Orgvue employs approximately 250 people across offices in North America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific, according to the publication. Orgvue serves close to 200 enterprise customers globally, according to Private Equity Wire.

Orgvue’s customer base includes HM Government, Mars, Danone and Aviva, according to the report. More than 50 international consulting firms use Orgvue’s platform in workforce transformation and organisational planning projects, according to Private Equity Wire.
